I am making a real effort to have more joy in all aspects of my life. Including in my closet…

I recently read through the popular book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, by Marie Kondo. She agrues that everything in our home should spark joy. Does it spark joy? She says that is the simple question we should ask ourselves as we “tidy up” and maintain order and cleanliness. I think that I am a well organized person. I take pride in the fact that I am currently living comfortably in 800 sqare feet with a family of 6, but I was still inspired and movtiated to go through my belongs and edit a lot more. 

As you clear space for new Christmas gift and a new year, I recommend Marie Kondo’s theory to you. May you surround yourself with only that which is lovely, praiseworthy, or of good report.
