I wrote more words in 2017 than ever before—two entire manuscripts plus some revisions. Writing hundreds of thousands of words has improved my writing level incredibly. I’ve needed all that practice. I’ve learned so much and I’m getting better. It’s taken patience and diligence, but I finally feel qualified to recommend my work. My writing goal for 2018 is to focus on revisions. No more first drafts until I spend the time layering and polishing the manuscripts I’ve already written. And I’m going to get out of my cave and try to connect with the tricky publishing industry. I’ve got a few conferences set up (I’ll tell you how they go) and I’m practicing my pitching. Wish me luck!
